Gender inequality is everywhere-even in the lucky western society. If, you, like us three, are lucky enough to live in a western society, think about the advertising, have you ever seen a commercial where a man has done the cooking and cleaning? To be honest, I have only ever seen one, but think of it this way- commercials come and go, we have all seen a million of them (without even exaggerating...) and out of all these commericials, only one shows a man working and contributing to the house, does anybody else have a major porblem with this as I do? How can we all accomplish one of the eight goals that the united nations set when even the privillaged society will not change? Will this be possible? Because in our, apparently, 'progeressive society' there are still strong examples of gender inequality, how can we lead the world if we can't even have fairness in our society?
I really don't have an answer to that, maybe a politican does, and will make a promise that they won't make... like our nations politicians.
